Studio Art & New Frontiers Brochure Cover Collaboration: Final Class

Yesterday was the last day of digital painting so we were able to see the students finished products. Everyone did a great job and it was a lot of fun to see how open all of the students were in giving feedback to their classmates on what they did well and what they could have done better. In preparation for the exhibit Dr. Newman, Dr. Caldorera-Moore, and Mr. Bustamante are going to pick the 6-7 that best addressed the assignment for ranking by our selection committee. The winning image will be selected and announced at the

exhibit opening. In addition, the top images, including the winner, will be put on mugs for

sale at the exhibit and those framed prints from the exhibit will be auctioned off to help raise

funds for continuing the digital painting class and the collaboration between art and science.

We are so proud of all of the students! We are also incredibly thankful to everyone who helped

us make this class and project a reality. The support has been amazing and we can’t wait to

show you the final products on April 14 at the Enterprise Center.
